Development of rim models started in 2013 when the first Tesla Model S came on the road in Norway. 0-100 tests became popular, and reduction of rumbling noise was highly relevant. We learned how to design rims for EVs after 4-5 years of testing different rim designs on Model S, X, and from 2019 model 3. Rims must be as light as possible, and we must reduce as much as possible the weight to the furthest in diameter. Over the last seven years, many thousands of hours of measurements have become valuable knowledge that we now use in the ZAX program.
Three different teams are collaborating on the development of the ZAX program.

IT developers convert CAD files to image presentations and videos and develop the market’s most advanced wheel configurator.
We are a mix of skilled people from Asia, Central Europe, the Balticum, and Scandinavia.
Our goals with the ZAX program are to develop wheels that improve the EV on the road. By better acceleration, extended range, and less rumbling noise than the OE wheels or traditional aftermarket wheels.
